Definition
Relating to or having the shape of a cone on the head.
Etymology
From 'cephalocone' + '-ic' (relating to). Adjectival form describing cone-shaped cranial or anterior structures.
Kelly Says
Fossil hunters get excited about cephaloconic features because they're often preserved amazingly well in stone and can reveal how ancient creatures sensed their environment—some head-cones were actually sensory organs.
