Definition
A person or thing that emulates; someone who imitates or tries to rival another.
Etymology
From Latin 'aemulans' (the present participle of 'aemulari'), this term was used in English from the 16th century to describe those who engage in emulation or imitation.
Kelly Says
Emulants make the competitive world go round—they're the challengers, the startup founders, the athletes who say 'I can do that better,' and this drive has propelled countless innovations throughout history.
