Definition
One who feigns or pretends; someone who makes a false show or pretends to be something they're not.
Etymology
From Old French feindre (to feign) plus the agent suffix -er. The word combines feigners' role as actors with the somewhat archaic feel of older theatrical terminology.
Kelly Says
A feigher is basically a professional liar—think of con artists, spies, or Method actors who are so committed to their false persona that they blur the line between acting and lying!
