Definition
Plural of fervor; multiple instances of intense, passionate, or deeply felt emotion, enthusiasm, or conviction.
Etymology
From Latin 'fervor' (heat, boiling, passion) which came from 'fervere' (to boil). The regular English plural '-s' is added to make the plural form.
Kelly Says
The plural 'fervors' beautifully captures how passion isn't a single emotion but many—the fervors of love, religion, art, and justice all burning simultaneously in people and movements.
