Excessive secretion of gastric juices or mucus by the stomach, often causing discomfort.
Etymology
From Greek 'gastro-' (stomach) + 'rrhea' (flow or discharge). The double 'r' and '-ea' ending indicate it's a condition involving excessive fluid discharge.
